In 2007, the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank distributed nearly 3.2 million pounds of food and grocery products to more than 250 member agencies in Northwest Ohio.
Distribution to member agencies increased 34.8% from 2001 to 2007 (541,000 lbs of food). Distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables increased more than 200% from 2001-2007 (217,000 lbs).
Through member agencies in the 8 counties served, more than 260,000 people received food assistance in 2007 (up 71% since 2001) and 37% of those were children (over 98,000).
